Written Narration: Story of the Romans.
One time there was a big chasm in Rome. People tried to fill it up but it is so hard. Only the most precious thing in Rome is thrown in, the chasm will close up. Women started to throw their jewels into it but nothing happened. Curtius claud in full armor, mounted on a fiery steed and jumped into the chasm. The chasm closed, swallowing him up forever. Phyrrus, the king of Epirus gathered 25,000 men, and elephants trained for fighting to Rome. The Romans were terrified by the elephants trumpeting, crushing the soldiers. They were soon forced to retreat. They lost 15,000 men, and 1,800 were made prisoners. Later the romans pelted the fighting elephants with balls of rosin and flax set with flame. The elephants turned back to escape, but stomped on their own soldiers.
