Rome ruled almost the world during their time, the nation was in a high position but their greed of conquest made them low.  They were great architects and engineers that built roads up to temples, buildings and even public pools.  At that time, Augustus was a great ruler that reigned the land.  Egypt sent grain to Rome, and other countries also supply Rome with stuff.
